Avitech Solutions Limited NOC Engineer / developer
At Avitech, I have taken on diverse roles that have shaped my professional journey.
As a NOC Engineer , I have configured network devices, managed monitoring systems, and supported DIA customers.
My role as a Field Technician allowed me to install home internet, maintain data center equipment,
and implement CCTV solutions.
As a Systems Administrator , I have deployed Proxmox, VPNs, email servers,
and internal collaboration tools. I have also designed and maintained the company’s websites and internal
applications as a Web Developer.
Additionally, mentoring university attachment students as a Supervisor provided a rewarding opportunity to
impart practical knowledge in programming, networking, and system management.
Together, these roles underscore my commitment to delivering innovative solutions and fostering growth within Avitech.

Samchi Digital - Attachment
Samchi Digital, located at Absa Towers, Nairobi, provided me with an invaluable opportunity to gain industry experience
during my attachment. In this dual role, I contributed to both web advisory and sales initiatives, enhancing
the company’s digital presence and marketing strategies.
Additionally, I supported the sales team by engaging potential clients
and promoting advertising opportunities during the airing of Samchi Digital's TV programs.
I also crafted and sent professional emails to promote advertising opportunities and actively participated in strategy meetings,
offering insights to refine customer engagement efforts. This experience honed my skills in digital strategy,
client communication, and collaborative teamwork.
2019 - 2022
Software Development Degree - KCA University
In my Software Development Course, I have enjoyed diving deep into the world of
coding and exploring the possibilities of Software Development. Some of the key things
I have learnt along this term include Value of collaboration and team work,
importance of good software design and architectre and also the need to stay
up-to-date with the latest technologies and programming languages.
My course has been an incredibly rewarding experience that has helped me develop the skills and
knowledge necessary to succeed in a rapidly evolving field.
2020 - present
Web Developer / Freelancing
Over the past three years of freelancing in web development, I have found immense joy
in turning clients' vision into reality.
Along the way, I have learnt several key lessons that have helped me become a better
developer: importance of clear communication, value of time management, need to be adaptible
and willing to learn new technologies.
With every project I have undertaken, I have strived to build strong relationships with my clients
and deliver high quality work that meets their unique needs and exceeds their expectations.

Summary
The Development process involved using React component architecture, managing state effectively, designing a
user-friendly interface, and writing tests to ensure the calculator was robust and reliable.
React, CSS, and HTML were used to develop the application.
The project provided an
opportunity to learn and develop fundamental skills in React development.

This project provided me a comprehensive understanding of how different technologies like ReactJS, Axios, and React Router DOM can be used together to build a functional and user-friendly web application. It provided a practical working experience of ReactJS and its associated libraries, which can be applied in building other web applications.
